Catchy, silly songs with expert stories and interesting facts make this a fun listen for kids and adults. Radiolab for Kids presents: Terrestrials is hosted by Radiolab's Lulu Miller, who demonstrates kindness and curiosity in how she talks with her guests and teaches listeners. Episodes are on the shorter side, packed full of both bite-sized facts, history, and personal stories from guests that give you a great understanding about that topic. One episode about surfing discusses themes of racism and grief in really delicate, smart ways that allow kids to better understand even heavier topics. Sound production is high quality and the activity worksheets provided for episodes are interesting and unique.
