In SNOOP AND SNIFFY: DOG DETECTIVE STORIES FOR KIDS, a detective dog from London teams up with a goofy puppy to solve cases in the fictional community of Pflugerville. The dog detectives interact with fun characters like Freckles the Dalmatian, Lorraine the duck, and Poot the groundhog as they try to solve new mysteries like how to find missing holiday lights, where Sniffy's leash went, and how to rescue a corgi from a tree. Episodes are around 15 minutes each and are free, but bonus content and early-release episodes are available with the GoKidGo channel subscription on Apple Podcasts ($4.99/mo or $49.99/yr).
Is It Any Good?
Younger kids who are interested in animal characters, detective stories, or goofy humor will get a kick out of this podcast. Snoop and Sniffy: Dog Detective Stories for Kids is an easy win if you're looking for 15 minutes of harmless upbeat listening, since it has family-friendly language (with the bonus of silly British turns of phrase) and generally kind and helpful interactions. Sound effects, background music, and distinctive character voices add entertainment value, although the voice acting is not consistent across seasons which might be confusing or distracting to some listeners. Kids are sure to enjoy the silly characters and new detective plots each episode.
