What's It About?

THE GOOD WORDS PODCAST educates listeners about a different word each episode while also sharing life lessons meant to teach the audience about a particular feeling or issue associated with the word. Episodes teach kids about the definitions, expressions, and history of various words that expand their vocabulary while also showing them how to use the words and learn from them. Episodes feature the main host, Lynn Hickernell, alongside many other kids and adults who share stories, jokes, and poems that go with the theme of the episode.

Combining interesting facts, entertaining stories, and words we should all learn, this podcast is great for the whole family to enjoy. The Good Words Podcast finds fascinating ways to expand on a different word every episode, showing the various, unique ways to be an educator and how to use our words for good. Kids get involved in meaningful ways on the show, making it exciting for other kids to listen to and easy for them to follow along. A great show for families, classrooms, or solo listening. Some episodes can be a bit repetitive due to them focusing on a single word, but always find a way to make them fun for kids.
