4 Ever
Parent and Kid Reviews
What's the Story?
In 4 EVER four talented musicians benefit from being in the right place at the right time and soon team up to form what will become a hit boy band. The series starts with the all-star band breaking up and each episode tells the story of how they got to that point.
Is It Any Good?
Fans of the boy band CNCO will get all the singing (and dancing) they crave in this five-part mini-series, but the real-life musicians quickly reveal their acting limitations. Ian, the central character of 4 Ever, is likable, and the sets provide a fun backdrop, but the show's spoon-fed plot is contrived, and the interactions between characters lack believability. While 4 Ever could be a treat for CNCO enthusiasts, others will soon grow tired of the dragging, juvenile storyline.
Talk to Your Kids About ...
Families can talk about the real-world consequences of mean or aggressive behaviors, both for the victim and the aggressor.
4 Ever features a band playing characters that are very close to their real life personas. What are some good ways to tell the difference between real life and fiction.
