What's the Story?

7 BEARS live happily together in a fairy-tale world. For work, they mine for their favorite thing: potatoes. And for fun, they get into all kinds of hijinks with characters from classic stories like Snow White, Rumplestiltskin, and King Midas. The tales don't play out quite the same way as in storybooks— with this ragtag crew of critters, anything is possible.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say ( 7 ):
Kids say ( 1 ):

This French series is heavy on the potty humor but lacking in actual comedy. 7 Bears looks good, with vibrant, colorful animation, but lots of its jokes fall flat, and parents may not be happy with the frequent farting as punchlines. The bears are cute enough, but also work as a unit, so there are no real personalities to be discerned. Families looking for fractured fairy tales can probably find better options.

  • If you could insert yourself into a favorite fairy tale, which one would it be? What would you do in that world?
