Thematically packed but overall average documentary does not bring anything new to the table

Active Shooter: America Under Fire is an adequate attempt to recreate some of the most iconic and memorable American mass shootings of the era. Although it appears to have a rather large budget, it ultimately does not bring much more to the table then any other documentary. And although it is not well designed idea-wise, there are many thematic elements that are well done. The mixing and distribution of the background music throughout the series was more than well done. The transitions between topics were mostly seamless, and the conclusions were notably well thought out. An aspect of the series which I felt lacking was a more in-depth chronicling of the attempts at a high-score. If you are not particularly looking for a well produced documentary, but rather just searching for something to watch, this is for you.
