What's the Story?

The events of All of Us Are Dead begin when a rogue high school science teacher unwittingly turns his son into a zombie. Soon enough, the man-made undead disease begins spreading, violently, to the other students. The uninfected students attempt to mount a defense to the sudden zombie invasion, but it may be too late.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:

Zombies tend to be fun horror subjects because of the wide range of things creators can do with them. The twist in All of Us Are Dead is the setting -- this invasion takes place exclusively in a high school, and the surviving students have to sort through some relationship dynamics to be able to successfully fight back. The series overcomes some cliches (e.g., a student getting infected from a lab rat's bite) with a relentless pace and stylized action that make it fun to watch, even when it all seems a little familiar.
