A Lot or a Little?
The parents' guide to what's in this TV show.
What Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Amazing Dinoworld is a fascinating two-part docuseries that challenges what many viewers may think they knew about dinosaurs. Computer-generated dinos (and human paleontologists) offer a detailed glimpse into the life of prehistoric creatures, from what they looked to how they lived, fought, and died. Some of the dramatizations may be too realistic and frightening for very young or more sensitive kids. Dinos are shown hunting, attacking, and eating one another. Mating rituals and birthing habits, such as laying eggs, are discussed.

What's the Story?
AMAZING DINOWORLD is two-part docuseries that combines fossil evidence with stunning computer generated animations of dinosaurs. It's an interesting look into the life of prehistoric creatures, narrated by Salvatore Vecchio, that presents a diverse and dynamic world, across two 48-minute episodes. It includes interviews with paleontologists from around the world and shows fossil evidence. The first episode focuses on the impact of feathers on dinosaurs' continued evolution and showcases a combination of scientific fact and speculation about what the adaptation of feathers might have allowed dinosaurs to do and become. The second episode plunges viewers into the world of sea creatures, revealing the most successful marine dinosaur, the Mosasaurus -- a "gigantic dragon" that ruled the prehistoric seas. The show is presented mostly in the realistic animation style of Walking with Dinosaurs, with occasional jumps into the real world to showcase the true science behind what's shown.
