Waiting for season 3!!

This show is a small look at the amazing things Donald Glover is capable of. This show is amazing every episode has it very own message. There is some language like the N word, f—k, sh-t, bi—h, h— , and others. There is a decent amount of scenes that show drugs mostly weed, people are seen drinking henny, people drink in parties and the 3 male main characters are constantly seen smoking pot. This show has great messages though it talks about even though “earn” isn’t really together with his baby mamma “Val” he’s still there for his daughter, the show is centered on earn who is Alfred’s(paper boi) cousin/manager

Inapropriate for kids, possibly adults - graphic sex act scene.

An interesting but odd series where 30min episodes are sometimes similar to Seinfeld in that they are not about anything in particular but you see the characters going about their lives in various circumstances. Unfortunately mostly all of the characters are rappers, drug dealers, and criminals....which can be an interesting view of society if you have never experienced that. I stopped watching I believe in season 2 or 3 when the episode opens with a mans head between a woman's legs performing oral sex while she moans(no nudity). It was not expected or appreciated, and not necessary for the story at all. If there is a relationship, you don't have to see whatever goes on in the bedroom to believe they're together. If you want to watch this sort of thing there are plenty of avenues for that. To include this on a non-payed station like FX is disappointing and more suited for HBO or Showtime where you know to expect it.
CommonSenseMedia does a poor job of preparing parents or others of these details. I'm not sure what makes their reviews "professional".

Good

Depends how mature your kid is and if they are interested in hip hop. Very Good. You might want to watch and discuss the Teddy Perkins Episode.

Amazing show

Good show, tackles racism really well and makes you feel for the characters. Can get a bit sweary and I wasn't fond of the drug use, but I enjoyed watching this with my 16 y/o son.
