Ignore the culture war nonsense please

Some people need to calm down there is nothing inappropriate in here, discussion of periods and a very brief acknowledgement two characters are gay is hardly going to indoctrinate your children , the lessons are solid and the animation is beautiful

Hilarious but serious and complex

I really really liked it. The animation style is really nice, it addresses a lot of complex problems, but at the same time keeps it kid-friendly and really really funny. There's a plot hole with the fact that Baymax doesn't use self-healing plastic to stop himself from popping, but I guess that's part of the story. My dad was crying.

Don't listen to the parent reviews. It's stupid people think sexuality was "never around when I was younger" even though heterosexual is a sexuality like the others? Being homosexual was not invented in this generation, and if you disagree you are just straight ignorant. I'm literally a homosexual who grew up watching shows/movies that were strictly heterosexual, and I turned out to be the complete opposite. Watching gay shows does not turn you gay, and watching straight shows does not turn you straight, stop thinking this way. This is merely just a cute show about topics in everyday life and ways to solve them. Theres no "agenda" theyre pushing, this is how life is and you have to expose these topics to younger kids. There is no harm in doing so, and it's not difficult to explain how gender identity and homosexuality works.

Amazing show. Not inappropriate at all!

This series is awesome! I watched it by myself, then with my dad, and we loved it. I completely disagree with the parent reviews that say it is 18+. As Baymax says, all this stuff about body changes and periods in the third episode is "just biology." Overall, this series is wonderful. It's so fun to watch these episodes with your family. Some of the episodes are absolutely HILARIOUS. Although this is a very short series, Baymax is such a loveable character, and the plot of the story is awesome. I hope Baymax season 2 comes out soon! I totally recommend you go and watch this right now, because it's amazing! (Also, the animated kid's movies and series coming out in 2022 have stunning graphics! Just wow!)

Great!

This is a great, funny miniseries. Baymax is a good role model who makes mistakes but tries his best. There are no “problematic” things. Gender neutral bathrooms are a great thing, not a problem. A girl having her period is again, not a problem. Nothing is shown and it’s just nature. The fact that the next thing is considered a problem absolutely infuriates me. So, in one episode, there is a trans man who buys pads. This is not a problem. Why do parents need to wait to show their kids what society looks like? Trans people are not something to be hidden, and being trans is not a mature topic that parents should wait until their kids can “cope” with it. Same goes for the gay couple. Why can kids from a young age watch shows where there are opposite sex couples but having a same sex couple that doesn’t, kiss, hold hands, or even hug, a problem. I’m sorry but finding that problematic is not looking out for your kid’s sensitive minds, it’s full on homophobia. Go educate yourself. Sorry if this offended anyone but I felt like it has to be addressed. This is a great show that will teach people about facing your fears and that it’s ok to ask for help.

Nothing inappropriate, great representation for lgbtqia+ community :)

This is such an amazing heartwarming show that brings me back to the big hero 6 days, a few OVERLY conservative parents say that this is inappropriate due to the fact that they talk about periods but they don’t really go into detail when talking about it, My favorite part is when baymax is buying pads and tampons for the little girl and you can see a guy wearing a trans flag t-shirt and also an episode where baymax helps a guy go out on a date with another guy it is such great representation for the lgbtqia+ community, Im extremely happy with this show :)
