What's the Story?
BIG RV REMIX is a reality series featuring an Atlanta-based duo that does over-the-top redesigns of large vehicles. Rapper Big Boi and his business partner Janice Faison co-own Celebrity Trailers, a company that specializes in customizing RVs, busses, and other big rides. After meeting with clients to determine their specific needs and maximum budget, Faison works directly with builder David J. Vasquez and his team to retrofit and redesign the interior of their vehicle so that it will meet all of their needs. Big Boi also checks in and gives an idea for giving the vehicle a "wow factor" to make it stand out. It's all hard work and occasional fails, but the team makes each client happy one renovation at a time.
Is It Any Good?
The lighthearted, albeit predictable series shows a small business doing big renovations on RVs, trailers, and other vehicles tailored to the desires of the people who drive, work, and live in them. The clients usually have some unique needs, and the team comes up with creative design ideas to meet them. Of course, the big reveal at the end is always fun. But each 30-minute episode of Big RV Remix relies on the same formula, which requires the team to push through the same challenges, and makes it feel repetitive. Nonetheless, it's a positive series that will appeal to folks who like renovation television.
