What Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Big Trick Energy features magicians performing illusions for strangers that range from simple tricks to major stunts that are very dangerous and should never be tried without professional supervision. No one gets hurt, but the pranks that cast members play on each other are often silly and painful. Cursing is generally bleeped, but on occasion a swear word can be heard. Drinking is also seen. Logos for cars like Chevrolet and Jeep, products like Aquafina, and local establishments are often visible.

What's the Story?
BIG TRICK ENERGY is a reality series that features four illusionists performing extreme magic tricks for unsuspecting people. Magician and YouTube celeb Chris Ramsay, along with his close friends and fellow magicians Alex Boyer, Wes Barker, and Eric Leclerc, go out on the street and impress folks with fun tricks and over-the-top stunts. They also spend time playing pranks on each other.
Is It Any Good?
The humorous series features the four Canadian magicians doing their best to impress folks with their illusions. While some of them involve things like picking cards and making doves appear, others involve stunts like destroying a car and shattering glass. Also fun is the opening of each episode, which features a dramatic stunt, the orchestration of which is revealed to audiences at the end of the installment. But much of Big Trick Energy's appeal comes from the pranks the cast plays on each other. These are intended to be funny, but often seem physically painful, and at times borderline mean. Magic fans will find it fun, but Big Trick Energy features enough questionable stunts and behaviors to make it less-than-ideal entertainment for younger viewers.
