Not Too bad

Bless the harts is a funny TV show but there are a few swears that could be in a TV-PG film but there is some drinking and it could potty mouth a kid but a ten year old could handle it.

Southern animated sitcom for Simpsons fans

This Southern animated television show is teen-friendly; edgy, but not as raunchy as others like Family Guy. The concerns are sexual references and language, including but not limited to "damn", hell", and a few uses of “b—-h”. One episode takes place in a strip club.

Very adult, and not very interesting

If it was between this and the Simpsons, watch the Simpsons. Violence: Moderate: 4/10 Not very violent. Lots of unnecessary arguing, though, and weird sudden acts of violence. Sex: Moderate: 6/10 Many sex jokes, references, and scenes. Profanity: Moderate: 4/10 Many mild curses. The profanity is slightly worse than the Simpsons. Drinking: Severe: 7/10 Too much drinking scenes. Just too much.

Ehhh

Not a big fan, it can be funny sometimes but not very often. Characters just aren't interesting. I usually get bored watching.

An EXCELLENT example of why CSM shouldn't review TV shows after only watching the first episode

While CSM's review for the first episode of this show was more or less accurate enough (though they unfortunately forgot to mention one very crude reference to female genitalia that deserved the TV-14 rating), it does NOT hold true for the second one, which is all about strip clubs and features topless/nearly naked women pole-dancing and cavorting around (nudity admittedly is censored from both the front and behind with an oh-so-convenient black bar, but still) while men leer at them and make graphic sex jokes. Sounds perfectly appropriate for 12-year olds to watch, am I right? (I actually emailed CSM about this and asked them to update their review with this information and to raise the recommended age from 12+ to something a bit higher, to which I have currently gotten no response.)
