What's the Story?

BOSCH: LEGACY follows retired Detective Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver) as he works as a private investigator in an attempt to solve crimes on his own. Two years after he quit the LAPD, Bosch is now doing basic P.I. work with the help of Maurice "Mo" Bassi (Stephen Chang), and working cold cases in his spare time. He's also helping former nemesis and top defense attorney Honey "Money" Chandler (Mimi Rogers) with specific cases while trying to find the evidence to convict the man who tried to have her killed. The former homicide investigator also finds himself advising daughter Maddie (Madison Lintz), who is starting her career as a rookie patrol officer. It isn't always easy to work cases without a badge, but Bosch is still determined to work around the limits of the criminal justice system to bring justice to those who deserve it.

This solid latest installment of the Bosch crime drama franchise picks right up where the original series left off. As Bosch, Honey Chandler, and Maddie negotiate the changes in their personal and professional lives, they are also tasked with figuring out how to stay true to what they believe in while navigating the rules and procedures imposed on them when investigating, arresting, and defending alleged criminals. Meanwhile, like its sister series, each episode centers on the hard-edged Bosch, who has lost faith in the legal system, but still tries to do good. Overall, fans of the franchise will find Bosch: Legacy entertainingly familiar.
