Hosted by celebrity baker Buddy Valastro (Cake Boss), CAKE TOPPERS pits some of the country's best cake artists against each other in a creative competition. Each episode has bakers create intricate themed cakes, only to swap creations and reimagine or enhance their competitors' work in unique and surprising ways.
Is It Any Good?
This series captivates with its blend of baking and engineering, showcasing extraordinary creativity and craftsmanship. The incorporation of a well-equipped tool room adds a fascinating twist to Cake Toppers, and contestants have a unique opportunity to improve each other's cakes after an overnight brainstorming session. Those are its best qualities; while the final results are visually stunning and fun to watch, the show occasionally lacks humor, leading to slower moments. Additionally, the lack of a grand prize or championship title can make the conclusion feel anticlimactic.
