Parent of a 18+-year-old Written byMJBprotector June 28, 2020

We have not seen the TV show. THANK GOODNESS. The back of THE BOOK is often what parents base their purchases on at Barnes and Noble (or anywhere else). Our 15 year old son brought us this book and we approved it after checking the back. HUGE MISTAKE. We didn't take the time to pull it up on Commmonsensemedia. UGH. It is LADENED with sex and violence, yet NOTHING like that is indicated on the back cover. OUR BAD. It is disgusting and we have learned a GREAT lesson. NEVER trust your child or an author's description when buying books. LEAVE THIS ONE ONTHE SHELF ... AT ANY AGE. Four thumbs down.
