What's the Story?

CHEF'S TABLE: LEGENDS is a docuseries that focuses on a different world-renowned chef—Jamie Oliver, José Andrés, Alice Waters, and Thomas Keller—in each episode. The series goes beyond just cooking to show how each chef's career has evolved and how each one uses their fame to lead and give back to their communities.

The idea of what a chef can be has changed drastically over the last 25 years; this series focuses on four chefs who were instrumental in that change. Chef's Table: Legends looks at Jamie Oliver promoting healthy food in schools and Alice Waters creating the farm-to-table movement. Most importantly, it tracks Chef José Andrés' career to the point that he created the World Central Kitchen. The series can focus a bit too much on the chef's resumes, but it makes up for that with lavish, creative photography that immerses the viewer into each chef's vision.
