Just So So

The first two episodes were good. However, in the third episode it goes downhill fast. 1.3 was all speculation and covers the obsessions of an internet sleuth and a of youtubers in the Elisa Lam case. All the speculation is slow/boring. As well, these web “sleuths” are creepy lowlifes. Ron Howard could have done better.

Here to Slander the Negative Reviews

Phenomenally well done, heavily insightful documentary series. The negative reviews, I believe, are heavily motivated by individuals who are not satisfied with the sad, but simple explanation of Elisa Lam's death. Spoilers: The series delves deep into the history of the Cecil Hotel and the tragedies that have occurred there- incredibly interesting and very creepy, but when it comes to the mysterious death of Elisa Lam, it narrows down to police force miscommunications and an impossible number of synchronicities that make it easy to believe something paranormal has happened in a situation where mental health was left to run its course. She died accidentally, tragically, but without an ounce of doubt that the investigation came to the correct conclusion. If you do not want scientific, concrete answers, please do not bother slandering this series. Just keep reading about it online and stick to your blog groups.
