It depends......

The only episode I have ever seen was “The winter of red snow” because we watched it in class when I was in fourth grade, when we were learning about the revolutionary war. There is a scene in that movie where a soldier has to get his feet amputated because of frost bite. It didn’t show it getting cut off, but you can hear screams and that scene disturbed me, as well as a lot of the other kids in my class. There is also a part when a woman is giving birth, which could also be disturbing. I really don’t recommend this series to elementary aged kids. If you are a teacher looking to show this series to your class, I’d say sixth grade and older. It’s just kind of disturbing and there are better things to watch.
