Death Note

This is a great anime. It is about a high school kid finding a notebook with great power. I rate it as this age because of the violence and way they speak. Their arent any bad words but it's the comprehension level. In a way, it can be confusing for 12 and under because people talk like detectives. This anime shows a high schooler having the motive to kill people which should not be seen by young viewers. This show is great and the pov is about the bad character. The god of death and other things can be disturbing for some people to watch so be aware. All in all, this is a great show just make sure not to be too young when watching.

THIS SHOW CHANGED MY LIFE. I was nothing more than a rock. A pebble in lfie before I watched this. NOW IM A BOULDER. and it’s so silly. Netflix movie did it dirty………….ID EAT LIGHT YAGAMIS HAIR.

Lets start this review for why its TV-MA/TV-14 The reason for these high ratings is because it isn't RECCOMENDED for kids, people die like flies. All though there isn't lots of bloods and gore. 100's of people die every day. Another reason why is because there isn't a role model in this story, the main character is a big brain psychopath. Who wants to kill all criminals and become a god because of the power he posses to kill anyone if they have there name. Why young kids wont like it: There isn't very much action, even though a lot of people die, they usually just die from heart attacks, with very few suicidal/brutal ways to die on the side. Most of the anime is just people talking, and thinking of ways to execute the main character, or the main character using his smart psycho ways to not get caught. It's eighter you'll love it, or you'll hate and think its boring. Sex: Somebody does get almost sexually assaulted in the first episode, but then the rapist dies a second later. Other than that, 1or2 sex jokes, and one of the main characters big brain plays is pretending to not see the cameras in his room while looking at swimsuit magazines. Drugs: Some smoking, not a lot though.

To be honest the anime is not that mature sure the story focuses on a killer but there’s nothing too mature in it Violence- 5/10 people seen having heart attacks ppl being hit by cars and people being shot Sex- 1/10 misa asks light to sleep with her in 2 scenes but there is no sex actually seen in the show also misa wears very revealing clothes in attempt to Suduce some of the task force Swearing-3/10 from what I rember there’s nothing to bad in the show but they do say b—tard quite a bit Drinks/smoking/drug use - 0/10

Read this when I was 12 and loved it! Death Note was the first manga series I’d ever finished and I’m proud to say so! The twists and the characters are truly amazing, only making me adore the series even more! Death Note teaches you a thing or two about life and the lengths people go to for what they believe is righteous. I really recommend this series, and I hope you enjoy it!

i like this show great show. the characters are great role models mostly L. keep in mind that its about a kid who finds a death notebook and can kill anyone with their name and face some people can with just their face. you dont see people die most of the time and if so there’s almost no blood. but the dude kills a lot of people. like way too much people. 1000+ of mostly innocent lives. but what got me was a scene where a guy stripped a girl naked and forced her to commit suicide and burn a house on fire. i recommend watching the show first especially the few last episodes and make your decision based on that. this show is also kinda addictive. like kids might write DEATH NOTE on their math notebook. theres also smoking. but the characters smarts make it nice. there’s not too much swearing maybe a “damn” an “a..hole” an “a..” “s…” and a rare “f…” and btw there’s like 2 kissing scenes

Death note is a great beginning anime for any teen or adult who wants to get the gist of what they might like and not like about anime. Death note is very detailed and its important to pay attention to small details in the anime one of my personal favorite themes about death note is the fact that it greatly pays attention to how Light Yagami (Main Character) goes a bit mad over the course of the season with the power he process. He's a very smart student but he become obsessed with the power that he has. This leads to other issues with his family, girlfriend, friend, and his personal life in general. I should mention that his girlfriend Misa Amane is a model and can be shown in some scenes wearing "revealing" clothes. It's quite brief but may be something parents would want to know.

The best psychological thriller anime out there a bit brutal in some scenes but is revelant to story and not just random killings definatley my favourite show of all time
