What's the Story?

DISNEY TWISTED-WONDERLAND follows Yuken Enma (voiced by Jonathon Ha), a modern-day Japanese high school student who gets mysteriously transported to a fairytale world of Disney villains. He's given a dorm and a job at Night Raven College while he researches a way to return home. During his time there, he meets and befriends young mages with quirky personalities and difficult problems.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say : Not yet rated
Kids say ( 2 ):

This addition to the world of Disney is a fun take on a Disney villains story featuring original characters, and its comedic approach means serious topics are present but not too heavy. Disney Twisted-Wonderland is great for fans of the mobile game or manga series, but it also will charm new viewers. The original characters give enough of a nod to the OG villains to be exciting for Disney fans in general, but they're also distinct enough to not feel too cliché.

Some parts of the setting might be spooky for little ones, but most of the show is pretty mild. It's otherwise good for all ages. It keeps things lighthearted for younger viewers, has relatable teen characters, and introduces life lessons that can prompt discussion adults can get into.

  • Students at Night Raven College really admire the Great Seven villains. What is there to admire about them? What does Yuken, as an outsider, teach others about how to do good and have healthy relationships?

  • How and why do characters use magic and violence to solve their problems? Are there non-violent solutions they could try? Are there any situations where violence might be justified?
