Dr. Seuss's Red Fish, Blue Fish
What's the Story?
In a wondrous underworld live DR. SEUSS'S RED FISH, BLUE FISH. The two curious friends (voiced by Brian Drummond and Andrea Libman) are always ready for fun, to get the job done—swish swish! Their challenge? Two little words that are opposites, too. Like "heavy" and "light," "loose" and "tight." Which one to use? What should they do? In every episode they'll put ‘em to the test and find out what's best!
Is It Any Good?
While it doesn't have the most innovative animation style, this show is a comeback to preschool shows that rely on fun and excitement -- with only a few words. Dr. Seuss's Red Fish, Blue Fish keeps things tight, using just two main words per episode (other than narration and exclamations). This simplicity lets kids focus on concepts, pairing words and action every time characters say "go" or "stop." The repetition, paired with a flair for slapstick that isn't violent, makes it a great choice for preschoolers and a refreshing one for parents who need a break from overstimulating content.
