The Best Historical Documentaries I Have Ever Seen

My Social Studies teacher tends to play a lot of movies for us. However, these are the best historical documentaries I have ever seen. Almost all of us can admit that historical documentaries are not always extremely exciting, but I find these ones more interesting than any other series. One thing that I enjoy about these documentaries is the animated clips, and the reenactments of historical scenes. It really gives us a look into the past, and usually manages to make it exciting. One of my only complains about it is that in some videos, there are bloody scenes. For example, in the Maya video, you can see somebody ripping somebody else's heart out. Despite this, I would recommend these videos to people interested in history and even to those that are not. These are the best historical documentaries I can find.

The show was pretty good. We own the first season, and my little brother (9) devours them. However, there is quite a lot of blood and violence, and some sexual themes.
