What's the Story?

Hosted by comedian Whitney Cummings (Whitney), FAST FRIENDS celebrates the 30th anniversary of Friends with nine teams of superfans competing in trivia, puzzles, and challenges inspired by the show. Set in a replica of the classic Friends locations, the competition is lighthearted, with guest appearances from minor Friends characters adding to the nostalgia.

For Friends fans, this show is a delightful trip down memory lane, filled with iconic clips, themed challenges, and the chance to relive classic moments. Seeing contestants interact with the Friends set in an escape room-style game on Fast Friends is a treat, although how the "race" is measured is somewhat unclear. The competition is secondary to the fun, making it more of a nostalgia-fueled celebration than a high-stakes game show. Whitney Cummings, a sitcom star in her own right, brings humor and charm to her hosting duties, making it an enjoyable watch for longtime fans, who will immediately want to binge the series after watching this game show.
