What's the Story?

In FEEDBACK, Marcin (Arkadiusz Jakubik) is an alcoholic who's just woken up drunk, confused and bloody after breaking two years of sobriety. As his day progresses, he's haunted by flashbacks of his adult son -- who's gone missing -- telling his father that he did something terrible. As Marcin was the last one to see his son, he becomes a prime suspect in the disappearance and scrambles to find the truth before it's too late.

This is a thriller that grabs your attention from the very beginning -- only to lose it by the end of the first episode. Marcin, the alcoholic father who's trying to find his lost son, is a deeply flawed character who's not easy to like in Feedback. This creates a complex viewing experience, as the unfolding mystery is both fascinating and frustrating. The intrigue is dampened by the realization that Marcin's poor parenting and domestic abuse is a key factor in the drama. Ultimately, there are much better ways to spend an hour than following the story of this unsympathetic man as he deals with the consequences of his choices.
