What's the Story?

Hosted by Damon Wayans Jr. and NFL Network host Kyle Brandt, FROGGER is a live-action competition series that brings the popular 1980s game show to life. Three pairs of contestants have to cross a giant obstacle courses that appears to float above water. As they make their way across each one, they must jump on things like moving lily pads, logs and giant alligators, while contending with surprises that pop up along the way. Every time they fall in the water, they lose one of their three "lives." The contestant from each pair who gets the furthest or makes it across using the fewest lives gets to go to the "Boss Round" to compete for a fanny pack containing $10K and the chance to compete for the $100K grand prize.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say ( 1 ):
Kids say ( 1 ):

This silly, lively series features contestants competing in physically challenging obstacle courses with an 80s video game theme. While they leap, reach, and jump their way through the water-filled courses, the hosts are busying cracking jokes and engaging in some comic banter. Adding to this are slow motion replays and 80s style graphics. But despite the retro flair, Frogger doesn't offer much entertainment beyond what is already featured on other game shows like Holey Moley and TKO: Total Knock Out.. Some folks will find the humor worth tuning in for, but ultimately playing the video game is much more fun.
