What's the Story?

GOBLIN SLAYER centers around a brutal and dedicated warrior known as the Goblin Slayer (voiced in English by Brad Hawkins) whose tragic backstory leads to their sole focus on ridding the world of the goblin menace. Along the way the slayer is accompanied by various companions who help the slayer take on the goblins in this harsh and brutal fantasy world.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say ( 2 ):
Kids say ( 1 ):

This dark fantasy anime offers some intense action scenes that are great for fans of brutal action. Goblin Slayer offers solid strengths in its well-executed action scenes and impressive animation. But the series falls into a generic fantasy narrative, lacking distinct elements to set it apart. Moreover, the inclusion of graphic sexual content (including assault) may make some viewers uncomfortable, detracting from the overall viewing experience. While the animation quality stands out, the show's overall appeal may be limited for those seeking something more than cool fight scenes and brutal action.
