What's the Story?

Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service travels to struggling restaurants and helps turn their fortunes around, but with a couple new twists. This time, each restaurant has an insider who's been in direct contact with Ramsay, feeding him information. With their help, Ramsay runs surveillance on each place before jumping in to assist.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say : Not yet rated
Kids say ( 2 ):

Ramsay had a very successful recipe with his restaurant makeover show, Kitchen Nightmares. With Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service, he adds some garnishes but keeps the dish mostly the same. Many of the restaurants appear to be dysfunctional, gross, and irreparable until Gordon gets his hands on them. But what really makes the formula work is that each makeover relies on people committing to huge, difficult self-improvement. There are some questions about the authenticity of the makeovers, but actual change -- the fundamental ingredient of all human drama -- is incredibly compelling and impossible to fake.
