Not for children..Very inappropriate

This show is very inappropriate. My child is 9 and likes Miranda, I had to rewind a few times to make sure I was not hearing things smh. I don’t understand why this actress uses children to become famous and puts things in her show that a child should not hear, even if they don’t understand. I’m very shocked. Her and Netflix need to be fined this is not for children. She says porn, prostitute, condom, the uncle says some nasty things also. Like why Netflix??? Why???

I can't understand how people can slag this show off. It's so original and absolutely hilarious. Everyone I know who has watched it loves it. I'm just gutted there wont be a 2nd series.

What was Netflix thinking?

This should seriously not be a PG. I think if they just added a season 3 it would be enough to make it an MA. Miranda the main character is way too full of herself. Her mom is constantly trying to encourage Miranda and she always takes her seriously and gets mad. Also, there are very sexual references. I will only list a few here though. The first one that was notable to me was in the first episode. The family is eating cinnamon buns for breakfast. Sounds innocent right? No. Miranda's Uncle Jim accidentally squirts some icing on her cinnamon buns, and he apologizes. Then Miranda says, "Hey they landed on my buns, I like them extra sticky." Then the dirty minded mom says, "You should be careful talking about things like that, people could hear it wrongly." The 2nd one is the mom again. When they are at a fish store trying to record a commercial, the mom sees a hot guy walk in. She walks to the phone and calls home. She tells Emily to get her other brace which she calls, "Her seductive brace" Yeah. Then finally, it's Miranda. After a while she is in a wheelchair. (Long story) and she goes to her friend Patrick's house. She can't get up the ramp, so she goes the back window and peeks in. A girl is standing there wearing Miranda's cloak. Patrick pulls it off and Miranda thinks he was STRIPPING her. To do it. I am going to go one over because I rewatched the first 2 episodes and I found the mom being Dirty Minded again here. So, in the second episode she hits on a guy she meets at the church and makes conversation cards for the singles night she was invited to. Literally all the conversation cards were about sex or her sexual life. One thing she says is word for word, "Oh, a little bit about me? I was married once" Here comes the sex "I consider myself "pure" because I never had that "glory moment" I don't know if I am reading way too much into the words or if that is what was meant to be said, but anyways it can be taken in another way. Next, Uncle Jim calls a film director. They were calling it King Dong 7. You can already tell where this is heading: Unknowingly he has called a porn film director. He asked does she have a bush. OH, MY GOODNESS. THAT WAS PUT IN THE SHOW!

very good show, but there are some things you should know so you can decide if your kids are old enough to watch it.

i love this show, it is great, but there is a bit too much romance for a young child, and there is a lot of very strange relationships like the mom and uncle liking each other at the end of the season, so it can be little strange. there is also some inapropriate jokes that are straight forward. this show deals with many serious topics as well, so I would say 11 and up if your kid is mature enough, otherwise 12 and up would be good. (amazing show if your old enough)

Garbage show. Don't bother!

This show is so painfully uncomfortable, disgusting and awkward to watch. An over-permissive and coddler mom and a creepy obsessive uncle who indulges a self-absorbed delusional and mean girl in believing that her erratic and annoying behavior is great. Miranda is such a condescending and arrogant character. Watching this isn't only unbearable, but it also encourages the wrong behavior and mentality in kids. Not to mention all the inappropriate themes, scenes and dialogues in this show. I really tried to give it a chance, but my god, this show is disgusting and disturbing! I cant believe this was even approved to stream in such a large platform.
