I despise this show. The show is full of unlikable protagonists and kills everything that happens in the first three movies by saying it's all fiction and they don't actually exist. However, they're apparently in the same high school in the movies? Very confusing, not entertaining, and shoved LGBTQ+ into the unmemorable side characters to save this dumpster fire.

Meh

This show, in my opinion, reminds me of a knock-off kid-appropriate version of Glee. I love that lgbtq+ characters are normalized, and the plotlines range from mediocre to fairly intriguing. The name is a bit confusing, considering High School Musical references/plotlines pretty much disappeared after the first season. But overall the show is pretty good. Keep in mind I probably would appreciate it more if I was closer to the targeted age when I watched it (I started watching it when I was 12 and I still watch it now at 13) but I think younger kids and preteens would enjoy an in-between show (a bit more mature than Disney Channel shows, but not as inappropriate as Tv-14).

High School Musical: The Musical: The Series - My Review

It's a series that I loved. It's not really for kids, more for teenagers. There are things that only teenagers notice (LGBTQ+ community, the end of a relationship). However, I saw it and loved it. If you mature at 10, you can see. At 11 you can watch whenever you want. The series has good models for life and proves that we cannot force a person to love us. Watch and enjoy.

This is the best show!

I LOVE this show! This show is like a cleaner version of Glee. It is so good! Throughout the show there are some not very nice words but nothing too bad. one word is bleeped out and you can see what she is saying but nothing really bad. There are a few LGBTQ+ characters two of them are main characters of the show and the other two are one of the main characters moms but they don’t have really any parts at all. The two main LGBTQ+ characters kiss once (Very quick) and hold hands sometimes. In season 1 they aren’t a big part of the show but in season 2 they have a lot more parts together like each one of them sings a song to one another. This show has a GREAT and TALENTED cast including Olivia Rodrigo, Joshua Bassett, Matt Cornett, and Sofia Wylie! There are so many amazing episodes in this series and the music is so good! The drama teacher is so funny! All of the characters are really funny and all loving to each other! This is an Amazing show to binge watch! Once you get to season 2 there is a cliffhanger But season 3 CONFIRMED to do FROZEN ! July 27th!

Cheesy, but entertaining series for all ages!

High School Musical: The Musical: The Series faced a lot of skepticism for bringing something new to the already, seemingly 'sacred' world of East High, but nevertheless, did it perfectly. The idea of putting on the show itself was very satisfying for the theatre kid inside of me, although there were many errors regarding the actual idea of putting on a show. The characters were very likable, and the original songs were very enjoyable! There are some for mature topics such as love and loss of it, so a kid 8+ would be able to enjoy the show and all that comes with it.

Good show, nothing very wrong with it

There’s really nothing too inappropriate in this show. Just some minor language.

Fantastic spinoff of High School Musical. Better than the original movie.

Love love love this show. So fun and entertaining. I love all the songs and actors. I would rate it 12+ because romance holds a key part in the movie. Nothing too bad, just kissing, dating, and getting together + breaking up talk. There is a gay couple who kiss once or twice, hug, go to dances together, and call each other honey. Nini has two moms. No swearing, maybe two h*ell yeah I'm the first episode and one bleeped bad word. Otherwise completely clean language. Overall fantastic show, I definitely recommend.

It meh

Ok it good overall bt it’s very lovie dovie and pretty much only about there relationship and the people are so freaking needie, there is a whole episode about two gay men, and it is not a great influence… probably don’t watch, it was ok but you can definitely find something better to do with your life. ;)
