The voyeuristic and mildly helpful series features people from different walks of life receiving financial guidance in hopes of acheiving their personal definition of financial freedom. Ramit Sethi doles out generic advice intended to help change the way his clients think about money and their relationship to it. He also offers his perspectives on things like home buying, hiring financial advisors, and other common finance-related activities. Much of this is offered with minimal details, and platitudes like "don't spend more than what you make" are simplistic and rooted in basic common sense. Nonetheless, watching how different people deal with their financial concerns is interesting.
