Howie Mandel's Animals Doing Things
Parent and Kid Reviews
What's the Story?
HOWIE MANDEL'S ANMALS DOING THINGS is a compilation of funny, surprising, and occasionally educational animal video clips hosted and narrated by comedian Howie Mandel (America's Got Talent). The show strings together user-submitted and professionally captured videos of animals in amusing situations.
Is It Any Good?
While the premise sounds entertaining, not to mention adorable, the execution falls short. Many clips of the clips on Howie Mandel's Animals Doing Things, are repeated several times in a row, with unnecessary graphic overlays that detract from the natural humor of animal behavior. The editing seems amateurish, giving the impression of a hastily assembled show that doesn't fully capitalize on the inherent comedy of animal videos. Mandel's narration adds some charm, but can't entirely salvage the uneven presentation.
