Interrupting Chicken Holiday Special: A Chicken Carol
What's the Story?
INTERRUPTING CHICKEN HOLIDAY SPECIAL: A CHICKEN CAROL gives viewers an invite to Piper and her family's holiday party. Her Papa gathers the children around to read A Pigville Carol by Charles Chickens -- a play on A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. The story shares Ebinzer Wolf's quest to end Christmas, Kwanzaa, and Hanukkah in Pigville. Piper can't bear the thought of the characters losing out on the magic of the holidays, and inserts herself in the story to make a difference. Along the way, she learns that giving is more important than anything and that everyone has a gift to give.
Is It Any Good?
This is a sweet holiday special that puts a modern twist on a classic story. Interrupting Chicken Holiday Special: A Chicken Carol continues Piper's fascination with storytelling and bringing people together through her special gift. Being reminded that giving is always better than receiving is a powerful reminder for viewers young and old alike. The special's beautiful animation and original songs are festive and memorable.
