What's the Story?

KIFF: LORE OF THE RING LIGHT transports viewers back to Table Town, where the local librarian narrates an old story about a group of witches who created a ring light that is designed to control the mind of the owner. In present day, the ring light is in a storage closet at Table Town Middle School and is accidentally discovered by Helen, the drama teacher. She's instantly struck by its power, and students at the school are also drawn to its glamour and ability to help the owner get attention on social media. Everyone is affected—except Kiff. She and her friends discover that if the powerful ring light isn't destroyed, the owner will control the entire town. Are Kiff and her friends up for the challenge?

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say : Not yet rated
Kids say ( 1 ):

This animated special could be confused for a J.R.R. Tolkien classic—if the characters were obsessed with an actual ring, and not a tool for social media. Kiff: Lore of the Ring Light brings all the humor and quirkiness that fans of the original series are used to. The story is upbeat and features original songs while including underlying messages about friendship and social media. A funny watch for the family.
