What's the Story?

KING OF COLLECTIBLES: THE GOLDIN TOUCH is a reality series featuring the world's largest collectible marketplace and the people who run it. It features owner Ken Goldin, Head of Auctions Dave Amerman, and other savvy team members like Junior Consignment Director Myesha Buchanan as they collect, price, and sell rare objects. Whether it's making deals with private collectors, or using a global digital auction platform that allows bids to come in from collectors all over the world, Goldin and his team do what they can to get the sellers top dollar for their items, collect large commissions, and earn bragging rights.

The sales-themed reality series features Ken Goldin and his team doing what they can to find valuable items that dedicated collectors will be willing to invest in. There's lots of of wheeling and dealing, but rare and exclusive items like an old yearbook signed by baseball legend Jackie Robinson, some of the late singer Bob Marley's personal possessions, and the piece of paper that shows when Babe Ruth was "sold" by the Red Sox to the New York Yankees are showcased, often with a lot of fanfare. Meanwhile, details about the history of each item, and the person it once belonged to, is also offered. Adding to the fun are visits from celebs like Peyton Manning, Joe Montana, Mike Tyson, and Drake, who are either buying or selling items that are of value to them. It's fun, especially for collectors, but ultimately King of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch is a vehicle for self-promotion.
