What's the Story?
KIT AND PUP is a British children's series that uses animation and live action to introduce preschoolers to scientific opposites and materials. The animated kitten and puppy duo like to get together and do things like swim, camp, and investigate opposing ideas (like the difference between light and dark, or what the difference between being higher and lower). The two play games to help viewers familiarize themselves with the ideas being presented. Adding to the fun are sequences that highlight materials and activities that relate to the episode's themes.
Is It Any Good?
This colorful and creative series combines is designed to teach young children foundational scientific lessons. It's not the most fast-paced of shows, but the games it features are both engaging and encouraging as it helps viewers become more familiar with terms and their meanings through repetition and easy to understand live-action examples. Additional show segments feature a combination of animated and live-action sequences, live action play, and other fun moments that help take the ideas being presented to concept. In sum, Kit And Pup offers preschoolers a fun and humorous way to introduce children to science education.
