What's the Story?
LORD OF MYSTERIES takes place in a world full of magic, potions, and the occult. Those who take the 22 Pathways try to become strong enough to be considered gods. A man wakes up in a new body, with a new name, now called Klein Moretti (voiced by Joshua Waters). He has to play normal so as not to make Klein's sister and others suspicious while he figures out what happened to him. He thinks he's transmigrated -- or turned his soul into another's body during an attempt at a luck enhancement ritual. As he tries to get back home, he performs spells and rituals, hosts gatherings for others who practice magic, and tries joining the Beyonders to make sense of it all.
Is It Any Good?
This series is dark, spooky, and extremely intense. Lord of Mysteries has an interesting story, keeping viewers invested in what happens next. However, its gory and unsettling violence is hard to watch and not necessary to the plot. Production values are great and the show looks good visually, but it may not be for those who are sensitive to anxiety or intense situations. Klein is a likeable character, and is the only constant in a confused situation. Viewers, mostly unfortunately, feel like they're right there figuring out what's going on right along with him.
