Love Island: Beyond the Villa
Parent and Kid Reviews
What's the Story?
In this post-show spinoff, former Love Island contestants reunite one year after their season to reconnect, hash out unresolved drama, and reflect on how their lives have changed. The setting trades the villa for cast members' home bases, but despite the change of scenery, the same romantic entanglements, arguments, and emotional turbulence resurface.
Is It Any Good?
This followup show recycles a familiar dynamic: breakups, flirtations, and betrayals. The emotional immaturity on display in Love Island: Beyond the Villa is extreme, with grown adults crying over minor friendship drama and calling their parents about who didn't get invited to dinner. For loyal viewers, the series will provide continued entertainment—but newcomers may find it exhausting or worse—boring.
