Fun and light

Very chill, supportive parents, get to see other kids with responsibilities and chores, helping around the farm/house, still with plenty of silliness and fun.

Sweet positive show

Very sweet calm show, featuring a very loving family, and modeling positive relationships with people and animals. My daughter loves animals and farms so she has been very interested in and is able to follow the story line. My daughter has asked for it on repeat. Just a sweet show that may be too slow for some children.

It's the rare kids' show that manages to nail the cozy and comforting vibe while remaining interesting -- or using state-of-the-art visual effects -- but this one does all of the above and more. Featuring an adorably charismatic crew of animated and talking animals, Lovely Little Farm is a series you won't mind your preschooler or kindergartner watching on repeat. With a heavy focus on the special connection between children, animals, and nature, as well as what it means to be a nurturer, this is the kind of show parents wish there was an endless supply of. It's sweet, silly, soothing, and absent of anything loud, annoying, or unkind. But unlike many of its counterparts, Lovely Little Farm manages to accomplish all of that without becoming mindlessly boring to older viewers.

With the special effects studio behind Star Wars at the helm, the production value is extremely high, and the sprinkling of magical realism, via talking animals and an extra large glowing egg, feels just right. Levi Howden is a bona fide natural portraying the show's star, Jill, and the lessons that farming teaches her about patience, compassion, and teamwork feel organic instead of forced. Joining her are Quackety Ducky Duck, possibly the most adorable character ever to grace the screen (voiced by Shirley Henderson, who many will recognize as Moaning Myrtle from the Harry Potter movie series) as well as the charmingly silly duo Al Alpaca (Joel Fry of Cruella) and Pickle Pony. The farm itself, nestled in a lavender field, seems to perpetually live in the golden landscape of twilight and feels so inviting you'll swear you can actually smell the rain at the end of one episode. This is a cozy cup of tea of a show you'll want to indulge in again and again.
