Okay for 13 years and older....

This movie is okay for kids but is very predictable. They have a drink at a party and they kiss but nothing to much that your kids can not handle. They do dance to "Like A Virgin", but overall, it's fine for kids 13 and up..

Unacceptable Messages For Kids/Teens About Sex

The actors and dancers are cute and sing well, but my praise for this film ends there. I am uncomfortable watching a film marketed to young girls ("family") that blatantly promotes casual sex and immodesty. For example, consider the poolside scene where several pretty, bikini-clad young women reminisce fondly about an extremely young sexual encounter, and then use this conversation as a lead-in to a rendition of "Like a Virgin". Young people who watch this film will be inundated with untrue messages about the very real consequences of promiscuity. Where is the responsibility in this kind of entertainment?
