Mashle: Magic and Muscles
What's the Story?
MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES follows Mash Burnedead (voiced by Aleks Le), a non-magic user being hidden by his adoptive father in a magic-using world. Despite his lack of magical abilities, his physical strength and good heartedness are incredible and he uses those to covertly attend a prestigious magic school to save his and his father's lives.
Is It Any Good?
This anime balances serious topics with a playful and comedic approach. Mashle: Magic and Muscles has multiple positive messages, such as doing the right thing despite it being inconvenient, comedy, and figuring out and embracing one's identity. The silliness as well as the serious topics may not be for everyone, but overall, it is non-offensive and has an interesting plot that can have some twists that you weren't expecting.
