What's the Story?

MEDUSA follows the attempted murder of Bárbara Hidalgo (Juana Acosta) After Bárbara is appointed as the new CEO of her family's company Medusa, she celebrates with a solo boat trip. One yacht explosion, a mutilated finger, and near drowning later, Bárbara survives with dissociative amnesia. Detective Danger Carmelo (Manolo Cardona) is put on the case, and he immediately suspects foul play within the powerful and secretive Hidalgo family. Carmelo and Bárbara must find a way to get her memory back and uncover which head of the snake tried to take her out.

This series slithers its way through a melodramatic, mundane mystery. Medusa struggles with its pacing and drags behind a convoluted plot. Viewers looking for a spicy drama thriller might get their fix elsewhere. The sex, language, and violence make this unsuitable for younger viewers.
