What's the Story?

In MERMICORNO: STARFALL, a magical star falls into the ocean, and Astra wakes up with no memory of her past. Soon she finds a baby girl near the castle in Pearl Kingdom and decides to protect her, naming her Pearl Girl. Together, they are adopted by the Royal Pearl Queen and grow up inseparable, until Pearl Girl mysteriously disappears. Unsure of what lies ahead but determined to rescue her friend, Astra sets off on a quest through the ocean, meeting new friends and foes while discovering the truth about herself.

If you think shows with cutesy aesthetics that stem from brands have to lack depth, this show invites you to think again. Mermicorno: Starfall succeeds at delivering more than what's on the surface. It presents storylines that are thought-provoking, character dynamics that are hilarious, and positive examples that encourage kids to think about how they build relationships in real life.
