Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+
What's the Story?
In MICKEY MOUSE CLUBHOUSE+, Mickey (voiced by Bret Iwan) and friends continue their fun from the 2006 Mickey Mouse Clubhouse series. Mickey plays with friends Minnie (Kaitlyn Robrock), Donald (Tony Anselmo), Daisy (Tress Macneille), Goofy (Bill Farmer), and Pluto in the Clubhouse. Einstein-like inventor Professor Von Drake shares an invention with the gang, and silliness ensues. For instance, in one episode, he brings an Itty Bitty Baby Ray, which turns Pluto into a puppy and himself into a baby. Mickey and friends ask viewers to choose "Mouseketools" to help them solve the featured problem. Eventually they return everything back to normal and celebrate with the Hot Dog Dance.
Is It Any Good?
While there's nothing iffy, this Disney reboot is just OK. The stories in Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ are fairly generic, and the educational elements seem like a bit of an afterthought. Like the original Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, the girl characters take a back seat in the storylines. Fans of Mickey and the gang will enjoy the silly shenanigans, but there are higher-quality preschool shows out there.
