Miraculous World: London at the Edge of Time
What's the Story?
After Monarch's defeat at the end of Season 5, Ladybug holds almost all of the Miraculous and a heavy heart. When a new villain steals the Miraculous from her, the future of the world is threatened. Marinette/Ladybug must join forces with Alix/Bunnyx to travel back in time and find out who the new villain is, why they are doing this and how to stop them from ending it all.
Is It Any Good?
This highly entertaining special ties up the story of the first five seasons of the series, and sets the stage for new villains and heroes. Miraculous World: London at the Edge of Time really dives into the complexity that has been developing in the series, with even more depth and intrigue. Younger kids who are drawn by the costumes and superhero adventures might be sensitive to themes like the death of a father — even if he's a villain. Fans who are invested in the lore of the expanding universe should find it satisfying, even if they wish to see more of Adrien/Cat Noir.
