Not worth it

Apart from the franchise feel, there is an episode where Bean falls in love with a girl who for a kids show is way too inappropriately drawn. Her character was designed with objectification in mind, and it's not ok.

Too much sexualizing of female character

There’s an episode of a female movie star that has really large breasts that every other scene it accentuates and makes the whole frame her breasts. Highly inappropriate and borderline pornographic for children. I am disgusted and horrified that women are portrayed sexually by their body parts in a CHILDRENS SHOW. This show should not be for children. It’s more adult swim night time show.

my kids cant stop laughing at every comedy scene it is just incredible but the romance just made it a bit inappropriate but you should get it for a 10 year old

Why 12+?

Everyone will laugh at this. Even kids under 8 could enjoy a lot of episodes. I have no idea why Common Sense says 12+! Parents, show your kids this now!

A family friendly and very funny cartoon

I have watched the cartoon version of Mr Bean all my life since I was 7. The show is very funny. There is no bad language or violence in the show although there are a few nudity references but it’s not extreme. In a few episodes alcohol is seen but nobody is alcoholics as everyone drinks responsibly. Mr Bean does do irresponsible behaviour quite often but as long as children are accompanied by their parents that is fine. Overall I would definitely recommend this show for everyone!

Rawr

Hello so I'm 18 and not a parent. If I spelled anything wrong I have a disability so oops sksksksk. Short answer: it's rated R (US; 17 and up), but isn't interesting anyways so yeah. The live action one was better. Long answer: I watch a little when I was younger... My parents stopped watching and I see why this wasn't every on cable tv. Personally wasn't very enjoyable, very episodic but the stories weren't all that interesting in of themselves individually, and there's are little shocking surprises in some episodes that go a little over family friendly. I would recommend this show to elementary child and lower (so not for 0-10). It would maybe be a better old kids/teen show, but I don't know any who would enjoy watching this personally. Like some of the big tits scenes are not even allowed on the whole YouTube kids thing (for kids 12 and under). Which is sad because I have seen kid shows that have women with a huge/very out there chest area that weren't overly sexualized. However it says 7 and up as an age rating on the show, but I think that might be the UK rating, because again it wasn't on cable TV and not a lot of kids I knewn even watched this show. I feel like the live action one was better tbh. Overall it was disappointing. I'm not picking sides, but I find it were that the UK isn't gonna censor very sexual slutty stuff, but they'll censor gay couples being no thots. Excuse my language just something to think about. In the US this wouldn't be PG-13, (13 and up), eventhough according to the parental guide it states "However, if there is any drug use in a movie it automatically warrants a PG-13 rating" and in this show that is alcohol and smoking. But there is brief nudity in a sexual context "A PG-13 movie can have brief nudity, if it is in a non-sexual context." So according to this the next eating up that it fits is R, "Restricted movies contain adult themes in abundance. So much so that anyone under 17 requires a guardian to get into the movie." Lastly there is some violence, but nothing super realistic like bone breaking on screen, guts spilling, or blood everywhere, a lot of the really bad violence is off screen. The violence itself is more PG-13/PG. Source: https://www.parentalguide.org/movies/

Sexual Imagery

Previews of shows show many sexually suggestive imagery totally not suitable for children. I was shocked when looking back at my daughters watch history. My husband thought the shows were fine at the time as he was here and there monitoring her viewing.

A HUGE THUMBS UP!

Other people might not enjoy this as much as I do and thinks it's extremly innipropiate, but I REALLY enjoy it. I'm a kind of a kid who does'nt really enjoy kiddy shows, but i'm going to make a exeption. lots of laughs, though a tiny bit innipropiate stuff, like naked people. it also sometimes sounds like he's swearing. he's not. though, maybe i'm wrong.
