What's the Story?

MURDER MINDFULLY follows Björn Diemel (Tom Schilling), a stressed-out lawyer trying to manage his life. Björn's mind seems to always be in five places at once: Stressed at work with his mob clients, judged by his peers due to said mob clients, and constantly arguing with his wife Katharina (Emily Cox) for never being home. After missing yet another event for his daughter, his wife pushes him to try mindfulness and at least be a better dad. Weeks of mindfulness training later, Björn's life improves despite his doubts. But when his top client, mob boss Dragan (Sascha Alexander Gersak), drags him into a homicide mishap, all Björn's progress starts to unravel. How far will he go to maintain a work-life balance?

Our review:
Parents say : Not yet rated
Kids say : Not yet rated

This series is surprisingly reflective amidst all the blood and gore. Murder Mindfully is witty, topical, and humorous. Schilling's performance and fourth wall breaks really highlight the outrageous, intriguing premise. With all the violence, language, and sexual themes, this series is not for younger kids.
