What Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that My Mom, Your Dad is a reality dating show featuring adult children trying to help their single parents find love without their knowledge. It contains lots of strong suggestiveness, drinking, and some cursing. Occasionally car makes like Mustang, Toyota, and Chevrolet are visible. All this being said, the adult children care about their parents, and want them to find happiness. Older teens may be able to handle it, but it's not meant for young kids.

What's the Story?
Hosted by actor-comedian Yvonne Orji, MY MOM, YOUR DAD is a reality dating show in which parents are being set up by their kids. A group of divorced, single moms and dads move into a luxury house called the Second Chance Retreat after each was nominated by their college-age kids. The goal? To get another chance at finding love again. But what they don't know is that their kids are spying on them from a "kid bunker" down the street. With the help of Orji and hidden cameras, the matchmakers watch the parents interact with each other, manipulate dating situations, and even pull some pranks. But there's lots of twists, including date-related challenges, and the addition and elimination of some of the participants. But throughout it all, everyone hopes they'll find a connection.
Is It Any Good?
The corny series features parents in their 40s and 50s looking for love and their progeny trying to help them make it happen. It's full of awkward, cringeworthy moments, which are amplified by the kids' reactions to their parents' behavior, especially when they meddle in their dates. But as weird and contrived as My Mom, Your Dad is, there's also a sense that the adult children want the best for their parents, and are rooting for them. It's an interesting twist to your traditional dating reality TV, and those who enjoy these types of shows will find it entertaining.
