The episode on January 19, 2022 is sloppy in the kitchen sanitation protocol.. a chef with team Nyesha Arrington, has finger taped up which can only be assumed to be a wound of some kind, thus, he should not be handling food without a glove. In the show he was seen stirring food in a bowl with the taped up hand. With team Ramsey, one of his chef was seen wiping his cutting board with a hand towel picked up from the table. These actions are a no, no for food handler. With team Ramsey, one of his chef was seen wiping his cutting board with a hand towel picked up from the table. What's the Story?
NEXT LEVEL CHEF, another installment of celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay's franchise, features the British chef searching for the food world's next best star. After recruiting 15 talented contestants in different stages of their cooking careers, Ramsay, along with Top Chef contestants Nyesha Arrington and Richard Blais, each pick five to be part of their individual teams. Under their mentorship, they compete in a series of challenges in one of three kitchen workspaces of varying quality levels designed to bring the best out of them. Those who can't keep up are eliminated. The final contestant remaining wins gets $250K and the title.
Is It Any Good?
This formulaic cooking competition features Gordon Ramsay offering his well-known brand of high-tempered, foul-mouthed commentary. Meanwhile, co-stars Nyesha Arrington and Richard Blais, each very successful chefs in their own right, play a major role in the contest, and add lots of flair. But the overall show also underscores their belief in the fact that anyone, regardless of their culinary starting points, or the quality of their kitchens, can succeed at being an outstanding chef if they are willing to listen to mentors, and commit to learning and working hard. As a result, the chefs offer constructive support, and celebrate the winners and the losers. For those who like cooking competition shows, Next Level Chef will be entertaining.
