What's the Story?
OGGY OGGY chronicles the adventures, and sometimes misadventures of main character Oggy and his feline friends in their brightly colored cat world. Each day Oggy must solve a new problem or come to the rescue of his friends. The group relies on creativity, teamwork, and tools in their environment to save the day -- and they always add a bit of humor. The many twists and turns of the story leave the audience engaged, and wondering how everything will end. Each episode includes three distinct adventure stories.
Is It Any Good?
This show delivers silly and fun adventures in a bold and bright way, with upbeat music, but may leave viewers wanting more. Oggy Oggy is not based in academic curriculum and characters communicate non-verbally or in their own language throughout the show. The series is a fun way for kids to be entertained by adventures, but lacks in diversity or clear social emotional learning concepts for young viewers.
Talk to Your Kids About ...
Families can talk about how Oggy and his friends communicate in their own language or without speaking at all. Do you or any you know, speak multiple languages? If not, try learning how to say "hi" in a new language.
Pick your favorite scene from the show and draw it with brightly colored pencils, crayons, or markers!
Oggy never gives up when he has to solve a problem. Who or what helps you solve tough problems?
